FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What time do the gates open?
- Gates open at 10AM on Friday. You will be allowed to leave and re-enter with the proper credentials. The event is over at 2AM on Sunday morning. However, you will be allowed to stay in your lodging till check-out. Please make sure to be respectful of the venue. Leave things as you find them!
Are rooms included in our tickets?
- Lodging is NOT included with your purchase of SHINEFEST 2012 Tickets. You will need to contact Fontana Village Sales at 800.849.2258.
Is the event rain or shine?
- Yes the event is rain or shine. The music will take place indoors if the weather is a problem.
Is this event all ages?
- Yes, SHINEFEST 2012 is All Ages. We ask that you take responsibility for your kids, there are plenty of activities for them at Fontana, but this is a concert as well, so you will need to keep a close eye on them. Children under 8 are Free
Will we be allowed to bring alchohol to SHINEFEST 2012?
- You will be allowed to have your own alcohol at your cabin or lodge room only. NO alcohol that is not purchased from the venue will be allowed in the music venue area. Security will be searching folks as they enter the performance area, and you will be asked to return the drinks to your lodging if found.
Can we bring our own food to SHINEFEST 2012?
- You will be allowed to have your own food at the performance area, however our hosts Fontana Village also have great resteraunts and food choices, so feel free to enjoy their food as well.
Can we get tickets when we get there?
- If the tickets do not sell out in advance, we will have tickets available when you get to the gate. They will be more expensive, and will be cash only. Please be prepared for this if you are planning on arriving without tickets.
Security / Safety
Event Security and Safety will be located throughout the site for the entire duration of the event. If you have an EMERGENCY, find a staff person with a radio or go to the nearest security station, information booth, medical station or security personnel.
Cellular Phone Service
There is limited cellular phone service and cellular phone service may be unreliable.
Medical
There will be emergency medical personnel and Security personnel onsite around the clock. If you need Emergency medical or police attention, find a staff person with a radio, go to an information booth, medical tent or tell one of the security personnel.
Use of illegal drugs is not permitted. Anyone using illegal drugs will be subject to removal from the event, and will not be allowed back in.
Those who have special dietary needs may bring food for personal use only into site. Factory sealed, non-glass, water bottles are also allowed.
There is an onsite emergency unit. Please behave responsibly. Event producers are not responsible for attendees’ actions. Be respectful of your neighbors and friends at the show and help people out if they need it. We’re all here together.
Pets / Service Animals
Service animals, which have been trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability, are allowed. The owner of the animal may be asked to describe the type of service the animal provides.
Pets are not allowed and pet owners will be required to take the animal to a kennel.
Children
Children under 8 years old are free.
Lost & Found
Lost and found will be located at Fontana Village Lodge. If you lose something or someone, check there first.
Have Fun
Most importantly, have fun, be nice to others, have a little patience, drink enough water and give the gift of laughter to the people around you during Shinefest 2011. Watch out for your neighbors, make friends, and have an awesome time.
